We all have music that takes us back in time: that Taylor Swift Fearless era song that brings back first crush butterflies, or listening to Bob Marley’s Could You Be Loved and being transported to a roadtrip in your dad’s car. So often music is special because it’s reminiscent of a person, a place or a phase in your life that only you can fully comprehend.

Now imagine that if every time you heard a song you could actually travel back to the moment and relive those memories. Perhaps, even change some decisions you made along the way. Exciting? Terrifying? Both? Well, Ned Benson’s newest film The Greatest Hits explores just that! Starring Lucy Boynton as Harriet, David Corenswet as Max and Justin H. Min as David, the movie unravels what it’s like to travel back in time to your first big love while also exploring a fresh flame.

Will Harriet change her past to fix things with Max? Or will she let the relationship run its course to vibe check with David? Decisions, decisions. woo sat down with Boynton and Min to chat about their characters, their favourite moments on set, what it’s like to film time travel – apparently there’s a lot of falling on crash mats – and of course, the songs that never fail to send them back in time.

The Greatest Hits releases in cinemas on April 12
