Charli XCX’s LA home is a slice of Old England in the heart of Hollywoodland, the gated community built in the 1920s to house California’s first-ever movie stars. She filled the vast space with charming, bohemian interiors to cultivate its homely, creative vibe that's perfect for hosting parties. Colourful cushions, candles and books are scattered through each room and antique furniture and one-of-a-kind wall art enrich the building’s historic character.

It’s a place for relaxing, away from her hectic schedule, but also hosts a music studio and ample space for throwing parties. “I like that this house has just seen a lot of stories and fun things happen,” Charli told Architectural Digest in 2019. “I feel like it’s the people in your home that make it home. The house feels very full and lively, so we get to meet a lot of other creative people just through the house. I enjoy that, and I think that’s part of the reason why the house is what it is.”

The singer moved into the Tudor-inspired house in 2015 before selling it in 2020 to move into Calvin Harris’ former Hollywood Hills mansion, but it was in this home that Charli spent most of her 20s. To celebrate the singer’s birthday, we’ve curated a selection of homewares to help you imitate the interior aesthetics of Charli’s charming LA mansion in your own space.
