Hiya, chronically online scrollers! Welcome back to TikTok Decoder, woo’s weekly breakdown of trends, sounds and creators brought to you by senior writer Darshita Goyal <3 Fresh off the slate: junk food is in, oat milk is out and is it Olivia Rodriguez or Rodrigo? Buckle in!

freshly viral: Zoe Bread sells you oat milk

Trust me, take out 180s to watch this video because it’s content gold and a lesson in what brands should never do. An unnamed oat milk company contacted TikToker @ZoeBreadTok to shoot an ad, they agreed on a figure but then reduced it by 60 per cent. Big mistake, huge! Zoe took it upon herself to give the brand a video, but nothing like they’d asked for (hint: the post features not one, not two but several competitors). It’s unhinged and points to a new era where creators aren’t afraid to challenge brands on their offers

wholesome trend: 90-day dinner

The FYP has massive big sister potential, and this trend is proof! If you’re having a hard time atm – a lost job, a date that got away, a messy routine – call your friends and set up a dinner for 90 days later. When the time finally arrives, think back to what was bothering you and what has changed since. Even if it isn’t 0 to 100, there’s space for progress and appreciating that is important. @Queer_Quarterback started this and the girlies are of course, all queued up.
